A little about me
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I began my practice in early 2018, and I have worked in a variety of counselling environments. Some of my past experiences include working with clients facing abuse, grief & trauma, homelessness, and domestic violence. I support clients from across Alberta, both in person and online, and provide counselling services in English & Punjabi.
I work with a variety of concerns such as abuse, anxiety, depression, addiction, and early childhood experiences. I am also trained as an EMDR therapist and specialize in the areas of Grief and Loss, and Trauma and PTSD.
I am a consultant and organizational facilitator with companies across a range of fields such as health care, oil & gas, legal, and frontline services. I work in partnership with for profit and not for profit organizations, municipalities, and post secondary institutes. I provide support to organizations through psycho-educational workshops on topics such as: understanding and managing stress, burnout, coping techniques, setting boundaries & healthy communication, and many more. Some special areas of interest include: Diversity in the workplace, Grief and Loss, and Trauma Informed Care.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. I believe my educational, professional, and personal experiences allow me to have a diverse and empathetic perspective to support individual and organizational needs.
I look forward to hearing from you.
